Troops of 25 Brigade Operation Hadin Kai, under Operation Desert Sanity, have received the surrender of 10 family members of insurgents in Damboa town, Borno State, northeast Nigeria.

Sources reported to International News Syndicate that the surrendered individuals consist of five women and five children.
The individuals are currently being held in military custody and are going through profiling and other administrative processes.

The military sources say that the development is a reflection of the growing pressure on terrorist enclaves due to the sustained ground and air operations in the theater.

To enhance operational success, security agencies require members of the public to remain vigilant and provide credible and timely information.
