In a statement issued on Saturday, SWAN Chairman Ibrahim Tukur praised the Maiduguri-based club after it defeated Ikorodu City 1-0 in the final to secure its fourth title in Nigeria's oldest domestic football competition. The winning goal came in the 19th minute when Muktar Ismail converted a penalty, handing El-Kanemi Warriors another historic success and adding to the club's previous Federation Cup triumphs in 1991, 1992 and 2024.
