In Nigeria's Northeast, a teenager was killed and another was injured in a fight over a lady.

The violent altercation over a woman during Eid-el-Fitr celebrations in Tasha Dinya Village, Fufore Local Government Area of Adamawa State has led to the death of one teenage boy and the critical injury of another.

Intelligence sources told the International News Syndicate that Idrisu Nuhu and Ahmadu Lawali, who are both 16 years of age, were involved in the incident that took place at 4:30 a.m. on April 2. According to the police, the two engaged in a fierce fight, attacking each other with machetes.

Idrisu had a deep head wound, while Ahmadu had a severe neck injury. 

The attending doctor confirmed Idrisu's death after their relative, Nuhu Alhaji Muazu, rushed them to the Malabu Primary Health Care Clinic. Ahmadu remains in critical condition and is receiving treatment. 

Ahmadu is still in a critical state and undergoing treatment.

According to a police source, two cutlasses were taken from the scene as exhibits, and the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is being assigned to conduct a thorough investigation.
