Borno Police holds walkathon to honor National Police Day.

The Borno State Police Command, led by Commissioner of Police, CP Yusufu Mohammed Lawal, organized a Walkathon as part of National Police Day activities.

The exercise got underway from the Police Headquarters in Maiduguri and took a path that traversed Al-Ansar Mosque GRA, Lagos Street, Monday Market, and the Post Office Area before returning to the Command Headquarters.
CP Yusufu Mohammed Lawal is the lead, and Garba Audu Bosso, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, is the second-in-command, along with members of the Police Management Team, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), members of the Command, and other strategic partners.
The Command's dedication to fostering a strong and positive relationship with the community it serves is highlighted in this symbolic event.
According to CP Yusufu Mohammed Lawal, the walkathon is vital in boosting community-police partnerships and strengthening the values of unity, service, and public trust.
