BORNO: In Benishiekh, a man was killed during a tragic dispute over mango farming

The death of a brother and the hospitalization of another have been caused by a dispute between two brothers about mango harvesting in Benishiekh, Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State.

According to sources, the incident took place on Tuesday around 9:00 AM when Kajdi Kachalla, 40, and his younger brother, Baba Goni Kachalla, 28, had a physical fight at their mango plantation in Ajari Area, Benishiekh.

During the fight, both men used wooden sticks to inflict serious head and mouth injuries on one another. 

The police operatives responded quickly and transported them to the General Hospital in Benishiekh. 

Kajdi Kachalla has been declared dead, while Baba Goni is still undergoing medical treatment.

The deceased's body was later given to his family for burial in accordance with Islamic rituals.
