Both breastfeeding mothers and infants benefit from childbirth

A woman's breastfeeding and her infant's are both beneficial after childbirth.
This was disclosed in an interview with breastfeeding mother while expressing her idea of childbirth spacing with her husband to our reporter at the clinic premises in Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State.
Ummi Abdullahi Ali said, more than three years ago, she is enjoying the planning and her eighteen-month-old baby boy is feeling healthy.
According to her, 'We have seen a huge improvement in the health and well-being of women and children in our community since the introduction of family planning.
Women now have the opportunity to space their births, giving their bodies time to recover and reducing the risk of maternal and child mortality.'
She also mentioned that women who use family planning have more control over their reproductive health and can plan for their future, whether it be education, work, or other personal goals.
Speaking in an interview, the incharge of Mala Kyariri Primary Healthcare Clinic Fatima Waziri commended the women for buying into ideas of family planning, which she said helps to reduce the strain on families, especially in terms of financial resources.
According to her, with fewer children, families can focus on providing better education and healthcare for their children, leading to a more prosperous household.
The women appreciate the availability of family planning services in their community and urge other women to emulate.
