Borno appoints new commissioners

The Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, has officially inaugurated two new commissioners to become part of his state executive council.

The event took place on Tuesday at the Government House in Maiduguri, where Chief Justice Kashim Zannah oversaw the oath-taking ceremony.

The recently inaugurated commissioners include Isah Halidu Garba representing Hawul and Umar Lawan Dalorima from Konduga local government.

They are anticipated to play a vital part in overseeing and securing the success of Gov. Zulum's administration in reconstructing and advancing the state.

Governor Zulum encouraged the newly appointed commissioners to utilize their expertise to foster growth and development within the state, highlighting their commendable achievements.

In addition to the swearing-in ceremony, the governor also announced the formation of the ministry of livestock and fishery development, which will be overseen by Deputy Governor Usman Alhaji Kadafur.
