In Borno, the police nabbed 2 suspects and seized illegal drugs

A large quantity of illicit substances and two individuals have been arrested by the Borno State Police Command.
In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso Anpr, on October 28, 2024, the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) while conducting patrolling in the Gwange Sabon Gari area, 23-year-old Kabiru Mohammed and 30-year-old Saidu Garba were arrested.
 
The suspects were found in possession of the following items:
 Two sachets of Tramadol capsules and four bottles of cough syrup were found in possession of the suspects.
There are 825 D5 tablets, 356 Exol tablets, 50 pieces of Ermoh, and ten bottles of cough syrup.
Indian hemp is believed to be present in 50 wraps of dried leaves.
Further investigation of the case will be conducted by the State Criminal Investigation Department in Maiduguuri and the suspects will be charged in court at a later time. 
The command's commitment to fighting crime in the state has been reiterated by  Commissioner of Police ML Yusufu, who also issued a warning to individuals involved in drug-related activities to desist or face legal consequences.
