The event opened with prayers according to participants faith, which was led by Mr Wabba. Then, all present facilitators and participants were introduced, followed by a brief talk on the purpose of the round table by Mr. Bishop Onche.

A presentation on the overview of FP activities and CBS in Borno state was presented by Dr. Habiba from the Borno State Primary Healthcare Department.
She also talked about the prevalence rate of contraceptives in the state, which showed tremendous improvement. However, more needs to be done.

An overview of FP initiatives was presented by religious leaders from JIBWIS(Islam) and CAN(Christian) with their perspectives, updates, challenges faced, and successes achieved.
After more presentations and discussions, there was an interview and lunch break where Bishop Onche discussed how we can use social media to boost family planning reach in Borno.

The state's FP media advocacy efforts, key FP issues, and how to strengthen FP advocacy were discussed in more depth.
The participants, as well as Devcoms/TCI, gathered to discuss future activities, collaborations, and priorities. They also identified action items, responsibilities, and timelines for follow-up.
The second day was spent visiting family planning units at health facilities located in the 1000 Housing Estate and Herwa Peace Estate on site.
Participants had interactions with healthcare providers and women receiving family planning services to gain first-hand insight into on-the-ground realities.
