Two Killed in Bandit Attack on Fulani Settlement in Rigachikun, Kaduna

A suspected bandit attack on a Fulani settlement in Girku village, Rigachikun Local Government Area, Kaduna State, northwest Nigeria has resulted in the deaths of two individuals.

According to intelligence sources, a group of armed bandits invaded the village of Alhaji Likita on the night of April 9, 2025, and shot at the villagers.

Ya'u Likita, 28, and Abubakar Nagoggo, 30, were shot during the attack and suffered severe injuries. 

Despite the compulsion to attend Kujama Primary Health Care for treatment, both victims were confirmed dead by medical staff.

An unspecified number of cattle were taken by the bandits before they fled the scene.
