Terrorist attack claims one police officer in Gwoza, Borno.

An ambush at the Police Mobile Force Training College (PMFTC) Camp Limankara, Gwoza resulted in the death of a police inspector. 

Intelligence sources told International News Syndicate that the incident occurred at approximately 6:00 AM on April 3, 2025, while a team of officers, including those from Mopol Training School Gwoza and various Mobile Police Force units, was on foot patrol.

During the attack, Inspector Andrawus Musa, who was attached to 6PMF Maiduguri, was killed. 
His service firearm, an AK-47, was captured by the attackers. 

The victim was taken to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) immediately, but was declared dead upon arrival. 

The body has been taken to the hospital for autopsy.
