Police in Northwest Nigeria confiscated Tramadol Worth Over N150m, arrested two suspects.

A mini truck laden with six large bales of suspected tramadol tablets concealed under bags of cement was intercepted by the Kano State Police Command, which is estimated to have a street value of more than N150 million.

According to police sources, the seizure happened during a sting operation in Alharini village in the Ungogo Local Government Area.

The source reported that the truck was caught while disguised as cement transport, but a thorough search revealed the hidden drugs.

The incident led to the arrest of two suspects. They are Imrana Rabiu, a truck driver from Bene town in Kebbi State, and Muntari Shuaibu from Kofar Gabas in Babura Local Government Area of Jigawa State.

By working with other security agencies, the command will fight drug trafficking and other criminal activities in the state, as the sources reiterated.
