NIGERIA: In Kano, a fatal road accident resulted in 15 deaths and 10 injuries.

A fatal road accident occurred along Chiromawa Village in Garun Mallam Local Government Area of Kano State on Thursday, April 3, 2025, leaving 15 people dead and 10 others injured.

Local sources reported that the accident occurred at about 3:20 p.m. and involved a white Toyota Liteace bus that had 25 passengers and a blue Daf trailer that was parked by the roadside with the registration number KMC 158 XW.

According to reports, the bus driver, who has yet to be identified, lost control and hit the stationary trailer from the back. 
All passengers suffered various degrees of injuries as a result.

The bus driver and 14 passengers were confirmed dead by emergency responders, and the remaining 10 passengers are receiving treatment at Kura General Hospital.
