Several Fulani teenagers were injured after a violent confrontation during Eid-El-Fitr celebrations in Katampe.
A dispute over girlfriends led to a confrontation that involved dangerous weapons and resulted in two individuals being hospitalized.
According to eyewitness accounts, the fight took place at roughly 19:00 PM and quickly escalated, causing disturbance among the public.
The scene was quickly dispatched by police patrol teams upon receiving the distress call.

Isiaka Abubakar and Isiaka Mohammed, both men from Ruga Katampe, were taken to Jareal Hospital in Mpape for medical care.
During the second day of major celebrations among Fulani youths in the area, reports suggest that violent incidents occur frequently.
In response to the incident, the Sarkin Fulani and Ardo of the community have been invited to a meeting with Fulani stakeholders scheduled for April 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
The investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to apprehend all individuals involved in the fight.
