Suspected fighters from Somalia's al-Shabab group attacked a police camp in Kenya, which resulted in at least six police officers being killed and four others being injured.

According to a recent report by Kenyan police, the attack occurred in Garissa County, Eastern Kenya, close to the border with Somalia.

The report stated that the attackers attacked a camp that housed police reserve soldiers at dawn and used a variety of weapons to take over the camp.

It was stated that six deaths have been confirmed, and four of them have been injured and are currently in the hospital.

Al-Shabab hasn't commented on the attack yet, but they frequently carry out cross-border operations against both military and civilian targets.
