Borno Police Command arrested drug-related vendors in Maiduguri.

The Borno State Police Command arrested fourteen individuals for drug-related activities in Maiduguri Metropolis.

The command's spokesperson, ASP Nahum Kenneth Daso, confirmed this in a statement released on Tuesday.

In his estimation, the suspects were detained during a joint raid operation conducted by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Social Vices Unit on May 10, 2025.

According to him, a huge collection of exhibits were recovered by police, including 187 Exzol tablets, 252 D5 tablets, 507 wraps of dried leaves believed to be Indian hemp, one jackknife, and one tramadol tablet.

The command reiterates its commitment to protecting the safety and security of all residents in the statement and strongly warns criminals to stop their nefarious activities or face the full force of the law.
