Nigeria explosion: Zulum visits victims, pledges to improve security measures.

Governor Babagana Zulum went to the State Specialist Hospital in Maiduguri today to see those who were injured in Borno State, northeast Nigeria.

The governor expressed deep concern about the incident, describing it as 'unfortunate', while noting a significant decrease in similar attacks in recent years.

The explosion caused eight fatalities, seven severe injuries, and fourteen minor injuries, as confirmed by him.

He p9romised residents that security agencies will continue to collaborate to prevent risks.

Governor Zulum emphasized the significance of working together to aid security agencies and safeguard citizens.

The governor advised communities to stay vigilant and resilient, while urging security forces to intensify their efforts to prevent future attacks.

Authorities are currently engaging in investigations and implementing heightened surveillance and clearance operations on crucial transit routes to prevent similar incidents.
