Two villagers were killed by bandits in Kankara, Katsina State.

Two villagers died in Tudu Village, Kankara Local Government Area of Katsina State after an attack on March 25, 2025, by armoured bandits.

Following the attack at around 11am, Operation FANSAN YANMA mobilized its troops to confront the criminals.

Two residents, Nasiru Chinnaka and Kamilu Mamman, were shot and killed by the bandits during the operation. 

The bodies of the victims were transported to General Hospital Kankara.

Police Retrieve ₦23m Lost Gold Coins at Malam Fatori‎

‎By: Adamu Aliyu Ngulde  ‎ ‎Police officers stationed at the Malam Fatori security outpost, northeastern Nigeria, have managed to retrieve gold coins totaling over ₦23 million, according to government officials. ‎ ‎According to a confidential report obtained from the International News Syndicate, the money was discovered undamaged by members of the police who were stationed in the area.
